Come Join us at beautiful Silver Maple Camp for a weekend of work, worship, and fellowship. Help us "wake up" camp and get it ready for summer camp sessions! There are many tasks to accomplish this weekend for both skilled and unskilled workers! We’ll meet at camp on Friday, April 25 at 7:00pm to tackle the first tasks of sweeping out the cabins and cleaning the bathhouses. After signing up for tasks and getting bedding settled in cabins, we’ll end the evening with snacks, fellowship and a campfire devotional. Saturday’s tasks will include deep cleaning in the kitchen, mess hall and activity center, electrical work, carpentry, outdoor landscaping and repair, bathhouse maintenance, painting inside or outside, and many other things. We’ll wrap up the weekend Sunday morning with worship time and a noon meal together. All meals for the weekend will be provided (snacks only Friday evening). Please bring: Your own bedding Toiletry items Work gloves and tools (shop vac, clippers, weed eater, shovels, buckets, rakes, etc.) This is a great opportunity to reconnect and fellowship with family and friends, while at the same time giving back to camp! Never been to camp? This is a great time to see the property and visit with all the hard working folks that make camp happen. Come see and experience what SMC is all about!
