Bring out your inner comedian in this camp dedicated to two specific types of comedy: Improv & Stand-up! Learn to work in collaboration with others as well as on your own to “find your funny”. From thinking on your feet, to writing new jokes, we’ll explore the wide range these types of comedy have to offer in this camp that is sure to be filled with hilarity and fun! Each Skills week at Studio East features different classes. Spend a week taking a deep dive into a specific performing arts skill that range from camera work, to onstage skills, to backstage options. At the end of the week, show off your knowledge with an informal performance, fully-edited video, or portfolio of work.
