Learn the fundamental skills for handmade ceramics, whether functional or sculptural/decorative, through regular demonstrations. The pottery wheel will be the focus, with students creating complex, consistent forms, perfect for vessels like bowls, mugs and vases. With a group environment, students can be inspired with new techniques/approaches and inject their own personal style into each piece. New students can learn and practice foundations like trimming and glazing from start to finish, while returning students can continue to build their experience through exploration. All experience levels are welcome. All students are asked to review the 2024-25 ceramics studio guidelines (provided upon registration) ahead of their first class in the space.
