About this event

The Bicycle Club of Lake County invites you to join, or renew your membership for another year of fun and fitness on two wheels. The Club’s purpose is to promote camaraderie among cyclists and safe, responsible cycling throughout Northeastern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Membership runs for one year from January 1.

BCLC Membership
The annual BCLC membership fee is only $20 for individuals and $25 for a family membership. Fill out the membership form below or print out and mail.

If you move or have a new telephone number or email address after joining, please email the membership committee chair‘membership@bikebclc.com’ (without the quotation marks) with new information.

Membership Benefits 
Bicyclists do not have to join BCLC to ride with us.  There is no pressure to join. However, when people become members, they may participate in the club’s listserv, our email list. With the listserv, members receive the latest information on rides and other club-related events. Members may also post bicycle related emails.

Club Activities
Club activities are member generated. We offer a variety of rides on different days of the week. We have dinner outings and other social activities once a month, and we sponsor Ramble, our club fundraiser ride. Check out our online ride & activities schedule!
   
Every year BCLC hosts an invitational ride called Ramble. It is always the second Sunday of June of the year. For more information see Ramble.

Membership Meetings
The Bicycle Club of Lake County meets eleven times a year at 7:00 pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month from January through November. The club has a holiday party in December in lieu of a membership meeting. Most of the year we meet in Room E, on the lower level, of the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 West Church Street, to listen to a guest speaker and conduct club business. However, our June, July, and August meetings are club rides that may convene at some other location.
