Indoor heated pool event at Freedom Leisure Lydney
Great event for beginners wanting to try the sport for the first time or for more experienced athletes looking to finish the season off with a short & friendly race.
Indoor heated pool, secure transition, Scenic Bike route. Finishers medal for everyone.
Distances :- 400m pool swim, 20k bike, 5k run
or 800m swim, 40k bike, 10k run
Event details and schedule
Event will start from 8.00am depending on number of swim waves, registration will be open from 07.15am on the morning of the event.
Parking is free and is at Freedom Leisure Church Road Lydney GL15 5DZ
Please register before attempting to rack your bike and at least 30 mins before your swim time slot.
A race briefing will be held poolside when you are handed your race chip.
Please ensure you are on poolside 10mins before your swim time.
The bike & run route are on the website and swim start times will be sent via email and on the web site a week before the event.
Ensure you familiarise yourself with the bike routes, different routes for both distances.
Prize Catagories are Male & Female
1st, 2nd and 3rd trophies for both male and female and both distances, with prises.
