Join us for a Ceramics Colored Clay Veneer Workshop with Lowell Nickel! In this 1 day workshop you will be utilizing color clay inlay similar to the Japanese Nerikomi. This is a process of using colored clays that have been marbled, cross cut, and then laminated ( a veneer) onto prepared slabs for hand building even wheel throwing. Demonstrations and technical advice will be included. This technique is versatile, very decorative, colorful and very fun to do! Prerequisite of recent enrollment in studio classes or currently enrolled in studio classes.
