About this event
STS stands for Science, Technology, and Society. Members will explore the latest research in science and examine the historical and current impact of science and technology on society, including both its benefits and challenges. They will co-create research projects focused on technology’s societal effects, while developing skills in data analysis and presentation. Joining the STS Innovation Club offers students a platform to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations, enhancing their learning through practical experience. By engaging in projects that address social needs, students will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of their communities, fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment. For students already interested in STS, this club will deepen their understanding of the role of technology in society while developing the skills and mindset necessary to become future leaders in engineering and innovation. Our plan for next year is to apply for a team competition in STEM, such as the Conrad Challenge.
