Description
This program is designed for individuals with developmental disabilities. Join us for an Outdoor Adventure as we hike the Second Water & Garden Valley Loop trail in the Superstition Wilderness! Participants must be able to tolerate consistent walking on uneven terrain for 3-4 hours duration intermittent with a few breaks. Participants should not have serious medical issues including high blood pressure and respiratory problems. Please wear hiking boots or tennis shoes and bring a backpack to carry water. A light snack will be provided but you may also bring your own. A hat and sunscreen is needed as well to protect against the Arizona sun! This trail is rated as Hard.
An administrative fee will be deducted from all approved refunds, regardless of circumstances, unless the program is canceled by City of Mesa Parks and Recreation. Fees vary based on programs, please contact 480-644-7529 for more information.
