Recess for Adults - Summer Series

Not your average sports league - this is recess reimagined.

Join the City of Mesa's award-winning program, Recess for Adults, where fun, fitness, and friendship come together in a rotating lineup of games and challenges. Each week features a new sport or activity, giving you the chance to try something new, meet new people, and just play - no experience needed!

Kickoff Week Special!

We're starting the Summer with an Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt through Downtown Mesa - a fast paced, team-based adventure full of fun surprises.
PLUS: For the first week only, you can bring up to 3 friends for free to join the fun and see what Recess is all about!

How It Works:

• Ages: 18+
• Skill level: All levels welcome - no pressure, just play
• Format: New sport/activity each week (e.g., dodgeball, kickball, relay races, minute to win it challenges)
• Structure: Mini tournament-style games, self officiated
• Sign up: As an individual or duo (teams are mixed up weekly)
• Post-game meetups: Join us at local Mesa hangouts after each session
• Locations: Vary weekly but always within City of Mesa limits

Whether you're in it for the friendly competition or just looking for something to do on weeknights, Recess for Adults is your ticker to active fun and new connections.

*Non-Refundable Fees: All activities have an administrative fee included in the listed price (unless otherwise stated). This fee ranges from $2 to $10 per activity and is non-refundable.
