This is a tentative activity. Registrations will be accepted if it becomes official.

Prerequisite: Basic Ceramics or Instructor Approval

Designed for students that have attended the Basic Ceramics class or have had introductory level classes and have acquired a variety of skills and knowledge. Class format is still instructional followed with a time to create in a guided studio setting. There will also be opportunities to work on the potters wheel and explore more complex forms of hand building. This is still an instructional setting but as mastery of skills and demonstrating comfort in the ability to work independently more opportunities for students to pursue projects tailored to their own interests. Although all materials are provided at this level most students prefer and are encouraged to bring in their own set or tools. All work fired in our kilns is part of our clay program and all clay and glazes are provided. Construction classes are at the beginning and glaze application is at the end. Some projects will not be fired until after the last class.
