Cape Fair, Missouri

Located on the James River Arm, a tributary of Table Rock Lake, this spacious campground turns into a leaf peeper's dream in the fall months. Book a waterfront spot for a weekend of fishing, without leaving your site. Or, take a walk on the Table Rock Lakeshore Trail. This 2-mile hiking path provides splendid views of fall foliage.

This campground is located in the heart of the Green Mountains, surrounded by hardwood forests. Look for moose, white-tailed deer, loons and woodpeckers when you hike along the 16-mile West River Trail.

This unique and rustic campground is perfect for an active fall camping trip. Explore on foot with 10 miles of hiking trails that provide stunning views of Pea's Creek Canyon. Snap a few photos at Inspiration Point Overlook or Crow's Nest Overlook. Bring your bikes to explore on the Central State Park Bike Route or get back in the car and drive along the canyon drive, where some of the best fall foliage can be found.
