Description
"Cone Walls", has partners puckhandling in a small area around and through the "Cone Walls". On the whistle, two players dangle around and throught the cone walls with a partner. Players must stay in close proximity to the wall and can't skate out into the open ice. Heads are always up to avoid collisions. After 20 seconds the coach blows the whistle and players rest. Repeat.
Key Teaching Points
Puckhandling: Attempt to keep head up and on a swivel while carrying the puck. Be creative as players work their way around and through the wall.
