After entering the scene in 2017-18, the GCU Women’s Ice Hockey team continues to build both on and off the ice. GCU Women's Ice Hockey welcomes female players from across the country for an opportunity to play ice hockey at a collegiate level in the West. Our women’s hockey team is a member of the Western Women’s Collegiate Hockey League and competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I. Not only does the team compete against teams from all over the country, but they are also leaders on campus and in community service, earning the ACHA's Community Service Award in 2017-18 and 2018-2019. The team is dedicated to not only allowing young women to continue their passion for playing hockey while earning their degrees and compete for an ACHA Division 1 title, but to enhance the women’s ice hockey community in Arizona on all youth levels.
