Description
Portland Farmers Market – Homegrown and Handcrafted! The Farmers Market is a city-owned and operated event. Our mission is to provide Portland and surrounding communities with the opportunity to buy locally homegrown and hand-crafted items, as well as a fun, family-friendly environment for farmers and artisans/crafters to sell their products. The Farmers Market is held the first Saturday of almost every month, at 810 Houston Street, in an open field across from Greens n Things and Portland Marine. We do not have a market in January, February, July, and August. Also, due to Windfest this year, we will not have a market in April. However, vendors may contact the Portland Chamber of Commerce about a booth at Windfest www.portlandtx.org.Vendors can purchase a 10x10 booth space for $20 and produce vendors are always free! Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, tent, etc. and no electricity is available. Small, quiet and portable generators are allowed. Registration requires a completed Vendor Application. Please scroll down and download FAQ sheet and vendor application. Application must be completed and emailed to jody.brancamp@portlandtx.gov. All applications and items will be reviewed for approval, and you will be notified. We reserve the right to limit the number of vendors selling similar items. Deadline for vendor registration is the Monday before the Farmers Market. No late registrations will be accepted. Online Registration opens 30 days before the next market date. A downloadable FAQ sheet is also attached. If you have any questions, please call Jody Brancamp at 361-777-4685 or email Jody.Brancamp@portlandtx.gov
