Grab your sleeping bag and sense of adventure—it's time for Camping Week! Campers will experience the magic of the great outdoors without leaving the comfort of camp. From setting up pretend campgrounds and telling stories around (safe, indoor) “campfires” to learning about wildlife, hiking safety, and outdoor skills, this week is all about nature, teamwork, and hands-on fun. Activities include crafting nature journals, building mini tents, going on nature scavenger hunts, and practicing basic outdoor survival skills like map reading and knot tying. Campers will learn how to be good stewards of the environment and appreciate the wonders of the natural world. It’s a week packed with exploration, imagination, and classic camp traditions! **DD CLOSED 7/4 FOR HOLIDAY WEEKEND** DROP OFF CUT OFF TIME 10AM IMPORTANT NOTES: Please dress your child in comfortable play clothes that you don't mind them coming home with a paint or marker smudge. Kids should have well-fitting, safe shoes on. Flip flops are a tripping hazard. Bring a sack lunch (we cannot warm anything up) and a water bottle. Bring extra snacks (just in case), we do provide two snacks a day. A child not picked up by 6:00 will be deemed abandoned and WCSO will be called.
