Babysitting courses are great for students who want to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children. This course will cover a range of topics, including child safety, basic first aid, age-appropriate activities, communication with parents, and emergency procedures. Course Content: Child Safety: Understanding hazards, accident prevention, and creating a safe environment. First Aid: Basic first aid techniques such as CPR, choking relief, wound care, and when to seek emergency assistance. Child Development: Understanding the physical, emotional, and cognitive development stages of children. Age-Appropriate Activities: Learning games, crafts, and activities suitable for different age groups. Students will get hands-on experience in class on the last day of the course, babysitting children of different ages in the classroom. Communication Skills: Effective communication with parents, including discussing expectations, concerns, and emergencies. Emergency Procedures: Knowing how to respond to various emergencies, such as fire, injury, or illness. Feeding and Diapering: Basic care routines including feeding, diaper changing, and bedtime routines. Certification: Students will receive their CPR/First Aid Certification at the end of this course. They cannot miss that day to receive their certification, as there will not be a make-up class. ($45 already included in the total price)
