2016 is in full swing, and people everywhere are knee-deep in their respective New Year's resolutions. According to a University of Scranton study, though, only eight percent of these people will successfully achieve their goals.
The reasons for failure are widespread, but one common mistake among resolution-setters is not asking for help.
Whether you want to lose those last 10 pounds or learn a new language in 2016, Mashable recently released a list of 19 mobile apps designed to help increase your chance of resolution success.
First on the list is ACTIVE's Couch to 5K® mobile app, a training program designed to prepare you to run your first (or first in a while) 5K race. In only 30 minutes a day, three days a week, any couch potato can be starting line-ready for a 5K of their choosing.
Lance Ulanoff, chief correspondent and editor-at-large at Mashable, appeared on the LIVE with Kelly and Michael show to discuss the story and mentioned Couch to 5K right off the bat (0:41 in). Check out the video to hear what was said about the app that's been used by hundreds of thousands of people to go from couch potato to runner.
Ready to run? Download the Couch to 5K app today and hit the road!
And for a little extra running motivation, sign up for a 5K to set a non-negotiable goal.
