"Update the upper to be a bit more breathable. "

Final Thoughts

This shoe was nothing short of a surprise and delight. A solid running shoe should be a no-brainer for a company that makes technical mountain gear. But it’s been hard to find that in other shoes they have made. But this one knocked it out of the park.

A solid amount of stack under foot, but still light enough not to feel like you are pulling a boat behind you. The cushion feels firm and supportive throughout the footbed, yet has enough give to be comfortable. The last one's forefoot does stick out a fair amount, but that hasn’t become an issue. The tread pattern is aggressive enough for technical trails, and the tread depth is there for those more technical trails.

This shoe has maintained a spot in my rotation due to its excellent cushioning, solid tread, and overall comfort.
