Everyone is invited to register now for FYMO's 7th “Giving to Live” 5K Cancer Run/Walk and Wellness Expo fundraiser to benefit cancer patients and those in recent remission. Our mission is to help ease the financial burden many face while fighting cancer. The proceeds from this event will go to children and adults living with cancer for medication costs, living expenses, transportation costs, and home care costs.
This year we are raising funds for 16-year-old Jamaal who learned he had Hodkins Lymphoma 10 days before his 16th birthday and 2 weeks into his junior year of high school. He went back and forth to the hospital for chemotherapy instead of school this year with his fellow classmates. Help us help him and the others who will benefit from this event on August 16, 2025, with health-related and living expenses while they run miles around cancer.
In addition to the 5K Run/Walk, the “Giving to Live” event also offers live entertainment, complimentary massages, mini facials, prizes, and a Kidz Fun Run.

Directions
Almaden Lake Park is located in south San Jose. Take Hwy 85 South to Almaden Expwy exit. Go south on Almaden Expwy & turn left on Coleman Ave, turn right on Winfield. Parking lot entrance will be on your right. You can also park on Winfield Drive.
Run course will be along the Los Alamitos Creek Trail
