Description

This workshop will meet at Appleton Field Community Garden off Clapp Road in the west end of Scituate. Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn about starting and growing and enjoying the garden. We will learn how best to prepare and grow a garden space from beginning to harvest. We will start with seeds, transplants, make compost, tend to the summer crops, cultivate flowers, vegetables and herbs and have some plants to take home as well. At the end of the class, in May, we can hopefully have a salad of Spring greens and eat it too! Instructor: Jon Belber (No class 4/21)
