About this event
This class consists of 3 parts: FALL: COSTUME DESIGN - In this class students will learn about color theory and era fashions. They will also learn techniques for how to create moods and styles based on the characters' costume design. Learn the basics for a play or musical based on the needs of the script and how to communicate with a director. Students will assist with costume design for one of our shows Taught by Heather Skogen WINTER: PROPS DESIGN - Learn how to work with a variety of mediums to create the prop look you are going for. Think outside of the box on what would look good close up or from a distance. Look at coloring with costumes and set/light collaboration. Help build the props for one of the shows! Taught by Kris Heller SPRING: MAKEUP DESIGN - In this exciting class you will learn how to do stage makeup, and to create themed makeup projects such as for Halloween and gore movies!
