ABC's Biking camp is designed to provide a safe and engaging environment for kids to learn essential biking skills, gain confidence on their bikes, and enjoy the thrill of cycling. Those who attend must have a bike they are comfortable with, a helmet, a water bottle, and the ability to ride their bike. Other safety equipment like knee or elbow pads are recommended but not required for the course. Day 1 and 2 at the school we will learn how to go over the essential ABC (Air, Brakes, Chain) checks before we can ride safely. Day 3 at the school we will begin riding in larger groups around the school and talk about road safety from the sidewalks. Day 4 and 5 of our camp we will meet at the Redwood Shelter (Pending Weather) to complete longer rides and get real-world application to our new learned riding skills. Please note that I will attempt to remedy all possible bike issues that may arise but cannot guarantee we can fix an advanced issue and may refer to a local shop if repair is needed. Rest assured that the safety of your child is our top priority. We will have experienced instructors and a well-planned curriculum to ensure a positive and enriching experience for every participant.
