The Hill Top Arms AR Build class will take you through the entire process of assembling a commercial-grade AR-15 style rifle. All parts are included in the cost of the class, and some upgrades are available for purchase during the class. Tools will be provided for students' use during the class, and a Real Avid brand AR-15 punch set will be provided for students to keep after the class. Participants ARE REQUIRED to complete the transfer of a lower receiver at our shop at 410 N Grant St., Waynesboro, PA, 17268 by Friday before the class at the latest. Please be aware that the background check can take more than one day, especially for students under the age of 21, so beginning the transfer the Friday before the class might not give enough time for the background check to process. All fees are included in the cost of the class. In the interest of keeping the class proceeding with consistent instruction, we require that students use the parts provided by Hill Top Arms, LLC. All parts used in our build classes are factory-new, never used or re-built. Upgrade options are always available, but never required for a high-quality build. Nearly all commercially available upgraded parts use a standardized installation, which means the processes and techniques we teach you will work for any AR you build or upgrade in the future. Also included are 20 rounds of ammunition for a live-fire function test after completion of the class. We encourage you to eat before the class, and bring a snack if you feel you will need it during the course of the class, as we will not be taking a full break for lunch.
