Description
Gear up and enjoy some healthy exercise on a quick-paced 3-to-5-mile guided hike through the wonders of the preserves. Ages 18 and up. $5 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-933-7248.
The Forest Hikes are hikes no more than 5 miles that are designed for adults who want to get outside and hike the forest preserves with a guide. Go on one or go on them all. This hike allows hikers to socialize while enjoying the sights and sounds of the DuPage Forest Preserves.
Hikers should be able to walk at a good comfortable pace and walking sticks are encouraged. These hikes can go on a variety of surfaces from screened trails, to grass, to dirt/mud. Be prepared to walk up and down hills.
Dress for the weather, and bring water.
