THE EXPERIENCE: LEARN by working with and observing your group directors, by sitting in on the classes, panels, and performances offered to campers, and in classes designed just for CITs. A staff advisor will help you navigate the various aspects of camp. PERFORM in a group along with your fellow CITs. The group will largely be self-directed (with guidance from your staff advisor). You will rehearse throughout the session and perform a song in the showcase! Song arranging will be a mix of CIT ideas/input with guidance from a professional arranger. RECORD your song for the camp album with help from staff, with the option to sit in on recording sessions and learn about vocal music production and engineering. COACH the campers in your small group. Depending on your individual strengths and skillset, you might find yourself leading sectionals, helping campers with their parts, drilling choreo, coaching soloists/rhythm section, or helping with aspects of audio production. ASSIST with whatever is needed by your small group and camp in general to run smoothly. DEVELOP your skills, knowledge, and musical leadership abilities, with the potential for advancement. CIT tuition is $1750, which includes housing and food. You would be responsible for your own travel expenses, and unfortunately no financial aid is available, since we need to reserve all scholarship funds for campers.
